Edward joined the Technology and Aging Lab at McLean Hospital as a Clinical Research Assistant in July 2024. In his current role, Edward supports both the Technology and Aging Lab and GPRP's Clinical Trials Lab at McLean Hospital. He hopes to contribute to studies that strengthen geriatric care through technology, drawing on the skills and insights he developed during his prior research experiences.
Edward graduated from the University of Rhode Island in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. During his undergraduate years, he gained early research experience as a research assistant in the Healthy Experiences in Aging Longevity in Gerontology Lab at URI and later as a student visitor in McLean’s Technology and Aging Lab. He is interested in pursuing a career in primary care, with a possible focus on geriatric medicine. His commitment to patient-centered care is shaped by clinical exposure at the Rhode Island Free Clinic, McLean Hospital, and his shadowing experiences at Oak Street Health and Amos House. |
