Hailey Cray, MPH
Hailey Cray is a research associate and lab coordinator for the Technology and Aging Lab. She graduated from the University of Vermont with Honors and a BA in biology in 2020. As an undergraduate at UVM she completed a two-year long Honors thesis on assessing the retention rate and identifying barriers to care of postpartum and parenting women with opioid use disorders in medication-assisted treatment in Vermont. She then completed her Master’s degree in public health in the Robert Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont in May 2021. Her graduate worked has concentrated in epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental public health and public health policy. Hailey’s graduate thesis centered around pregnancy intention as a predictor of postpartum contraception use. She currently investigates the use of wireless radio signals for remote monitoring of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in nursing homes and assisted and independent living facilities in the Technology and Aging Lab. She hopes to pursue a PhD with dual tracks in research and clinical work following her time at McLean Hospital.
