Hailey Cray, BA

Hailey joined the Technology and Aging Lab in June 2020 following graduation from the University of Vermont Honors College, where she earned a B.A. in biology. As an undergraduate, she completed an Honors Thesis that sought to calculate the retention rate of Vermont women with opioid use disorders in treatment in their first year post-partum. This retrospective chart review also identified barriers to continuation in care for this population and offered suggestions to improve retention in Vermont’s Hub and Spoke program.  This research solidified her interest in mental health and the development and improvement of behavioral health interventions. Hailey is also completing a Master of Public Health at the University of Vermont with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics. She hopes to use her clinical research experience and public health background to pursue a PhD in epidemiology.
