Julia Kimball is a clinical research assistant in the Technology and Aging Lab, a sub-lab of the Geriatric Psychiatry Research Program at McLean Hospital in Massachusetts. She is currently involved with research studies involving virtual reality and mindfulness, implanting augmented reality into dementia care, and detecting early medication side effects using wearable devices. She is also involved in caregiver support groups, focusing on connection and grief support. She hopes to continue this focus by going to school for a master's in social work in 2024. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. |
