Rose May, BS
Rose joined the Technology & Aging Lab in June of 2018 as a clinical research assistant and also works in the Geriatric Psychiatry Research Program. She graduated from Bates College earlier that spring with a B.S. in Biochemistry. As an undergraduate, she completed a year-long research-based thesis in the Dearborn Biology Lab at Bates investigating the Major histocompatibility complex (MHC) of the Leach’s storm petrel, a song bird. At the Tech and Aging Lab, she currently investigates a novel wireless technology device developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that uses radio signals to detect motion patterns. She hopes to ultimately attend medical school.
