Shawn GuptaShawn is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry at the University at Buffalo. He has a keen interest in geriatrics and behavioral health. Having family in the field of geriatric psychiatry and growing up with grandparents with cognitive impairment are some factors that contributed to his interest in this field. Outside academics, he volunteers at a local Skilled Nursing Facility and keeps up with global events. Having a deep interest in learning more about health in the older adult population, he is currently a Student Visitor with the Technology & Aging Lab. From this experience, he hopes to learn more about solutions that relate to successful aging. |
